Default 24MM sway bar to exaust clearance

No im not selling any sway bars im wondering if anyone has issues with clearance between the D-mounts and the back of the stock muffler on a 96-00 hatch cuz on mine there is none i actually will have to pound the back of the muffler in so that the D-mount wont touch the muffler. right now it will push the muffler back about a half inch back if i put the D-mount on .

ASR 24mm with their bracket?

The easiest way would be to just dent in the back of the muffler for it to clear.

Can you post a pick of the D bracket?

I think we know what those look like. I think we wanted to see the actual clearance issue on YOUR car.

Either "dent" the muffler or run another set of brackets.

What negativity? You don't even have it installed and worried about clearance issues? Maybe install it FIRST and then ask for solutions if there is a problem. Right now there is none.

Basicly this. There are other D brackets that are alot thinner than those monsters.

The eaiest way, is to dent the muffler a bit where it hits.

I had an 18 mm sway bar installed and had this issue that's why I didn't install it yet. But I installed it last night and the oversizd dent worked great.
