Default Hopefully found the cure!

So after not being able to race all summer, I finally decided to buy a CC twin disk my for h22. I was unable to shift at high rpm's at the track, no grinding, just locked out of gear. I would have to idle way down to shift. So after some talking with people and reading some threads I came to the conclusion that it is most likely my clutch. But damn it's expensive, and while Im at it, will get new sychros...anyway, looking forward to the track and hopefully achieve my PB!!

Wait, it was working fine and then after a new clutch you couldn't shift at high r's regardless of what gear? I'd say it hydraulics or adjustment. Where does it engage? Pedal stop? If it actually is a bad clutch right out of the box I would call the CC dealer you bought it from. Don't just blindly buy a new clutch.

No, I've had the same clutch for two summers. It was working fine at the track when I was making 250whp/198ft lbs and it is still fine on the street, but I'm now making close to 400whp/300ft lbs and even though it works fine on the street, when I took it to the track last summer, I would get locked out at high rpm's. The clutch that is in there right now is a stage 4 Bully, I have not yet used a CC clutch. It engages a little lower than halfway.
