1994 Acura Integra LS

Car was running fine yesterday, was doing some maintenance on it to fix the power windows and power locks. It was driven home, and on the way home the gas showed above half way, now it wont start and the gas is showing almost empty. Any ideas on where to start with this problem?

 

does the car crank?.is the battery good?
if it does crank and the battery is good,then has to check the ignition,distributor and if gas pump is good

 

It cranks but doesnt turn over... almost like there's no gas..

 

When you turn ign. switch to run, [not start] can you hear the fuel pump priming, [running]? 94

 

pull out a spark plug wire an check for spark when its turning over use a screw driver and watch for a arc to jump from the plug wire to the tip, if you got fire then check for fuel. theres a big nut on the side of the fuel rail a 17 mm i believe crack it loose, do not remove just loose like one ina 1/2 or 2 turns. have your friend tun the car over again if a gasoline sprinkler apears you got fuel if not you found the problem. dont forget to check fuses and the wireing you touched to fix the windows and locks if you have to get the coil checked and icm in the dizzy me and my friends got the same car we have all had to replace the dizzy its like 200 at autozone with life time warranty but first try to find out the problem before you buy anything!!

i would hate to say but if it is showing empty on gas now why not try putting more gas before trying to diagose everything else.
