Pr3lude down. ;(
Hi, I dont know how much you guys are going to be intrested in this but i atually have a documentory of my prelude from the start to the beginging. Im going to try and make it as short as possible without leaving out major details so bare with me. If your a picture person then just watch the video below.
Im 19 now, at the time of all this i was 18 going to highschool and working full time. This is the prelude that i built. bought it with 4ws which ofcourse came with the h23. I did a swap to it h22a running a jdm p13. This car was fast and one loud beast. I then got a paint job. hummar black. A week after the paintjob i got in a wreck. not my fault. coming home on a back road i take everyday, this road has no lights and the speed limit is 55 mph, which i was doing. I was coming from my girls house to my house, she was with me in the wreck. When a guy came from the side of the road and was doing a uturn in all three lanes with a trailer. i had no where to go and i was also going up a hill so i didnt even have time to hit the breaks. take not that at this time it was dark outside and also the guy doing the uturn didnt even have any of his lights on. I hit him going 55. I blacked out, when i woke up thank god my girlfriend was still there and okay crying asking me if i was okay. I at that time went into survival mode climbed through my window( both doors where bent closed no opening. ran to my girls side of the car and pulled her out through her window. When i woke up from the black out the cops where already there, they thought we where dead in the car. They didnt bother even trying to get us out of the car. After i my girl down on the side of the road i felt a liquidy subsutance on my lap so i went up to the cop to get his light too see if it was blood coming from that area.. yah know what im talking about guys... but thankfully it was only oil. ps oil. The ps pump was actually in my lap from this crash. the engine was cracked in half. the dizzy well there was no more dizzy. the battery was smushed thinner then my condesor. I went to the hosipital for 4 hours and left with some stiches and my girl left with bruises. we walked out of that crash. I got a lawyer, almost didnt get any money and would have been walking away in dept from hospital bills and have no car because the other guy was commiting insurance fraud. I ended up barley winning though and getting just about 6000. I got 2000 for the car and 4000 in pain in suffering. This wasnt good enough for the car knowing that i had 5000 dollars in reciepts that i sent them and the car was worth 2500 with no engine or paint. This prelude was one of the best in my area. maybe even one of the best hondas in my area for the year and such. I miss it and just wanted to share it. sorry if i left out things or some parts dont make sence, just ask me and ill tell you i was trying to just keep it short. Watch the video below to see pictures.
Thanks.

wow, just wow. I'm glad you guys made it out of that alive, it really sucks that he was committing fraud, i hope he gets arrested for it. you should also go to the city and request they put street lamps along that road so nothing like this happens again.
i'm still shocked.

Never have thought it would be that bad, but after seeing the Passenger side, ouch. Good to see that you went back to a prelude.
