Default Idle issues 99 Civic DX

Alright guys once again I'm having issues with my civic. I'll try to be as descriptive as possible. So I recently replaced the distributor 2 months ago to fix the problem of cutting off while driving thats good. Today when I was driving to work (normal driving) I experienced a Check Engine Light then after that I got to a stop light and was getting an extremely shaky idle. (under 100rpms) like it was going to stall out. Plugged in the code and got an upstream o2 sensor. I replaced that last night the CEL went out but the engine idle still remains bad when coming to a full stop . Something I've noticed was that it doesn't idle rocky when the enine is cold, only when its warm. Any lead to the problem would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you

Have you replaced your wires recently? Plugs? A bad wire can cause the shaking.

Get a spark tester, plug wire into it and ground it, see if you have spark with all the wires.

Whenever the CEL turns on, you need to pull the CEL code. Post the CEL code. It is a diagnostic tool created for your benefit.

It was an upstream o2. Just put that in yesterday. Made the CEL go off but the idle problem persists. Up for suggestions. This is quite a frustrating issue.

To be honest I'm pretty sure that's the only thing that I havent changed! Recently changed the spark plugs they're pretty much brand new but the plugs and wires are the only ones left.

Do it, I had a set of crap wires on my car only 2 years old and fail they were autolite professional (thinking they were good). I could not believe they failed so fast.

Cheap insurance get a new cap and rotor too.

If that is the problem please post back, I am curious.

Got a new aem dry flow filter cause the other one was 4 year old and has been cleaned only once. Put the new one on and knOck On wood it runs like a champ. Thank you for all your suggestions but I think the filter was clogged.

Strange, a clogged air filter should not of caused such extreme stalling (unless covered with tons of dirt maybe), I am wondering if it will come back.
