Default tuning with s300 question

im tuning my buddy turbo b18 and while tuning i've noticed the car never goes onto the high speed tables. what parameters(not sure if this is the right word) have to be reached to make the switch from low to high speed table.

thats because you dont have the s300 setup to follow vtec. I personally hate when it switches the tables over by its self. i generally tend to tune off vtec first up to about 6800rpm, then turn vtec on an switch over to the vtec tables and just tune there, everyone does it differently. but in any event at the top click options and check tables follow vtec. Good luck

i assume you are referring to a version of the b18c. if its an ls motor then there is no vtec and the hi cam tables are not used.

i know that seems obvious but just checking
