how to make your car feel like new??
u guys got any ideas how u can get that new car feel again, and what i mean is the way a new car rides, how it feels solid, not hollow at all, no rattling or sqeaking, just a good solid feel! since i drive a 92 lude, i'd like to make it feel like a 00' lude if that's possible...well if you guys got any suggestions, besides new shocks, cause that's taken care of soon, pls let me know!
ok, no replies yet, i'll just be patient! But u think replacing all the rubber bushings in the car with new rubber ones will help that alot, not poly, rubber!????
hehe you could do a restoration. call up honda if u want the stock ride and all that and get all new ball joints, springs, struts, bushings... not sure if thats worth it. im sure that would he some major $$$
Yeah man lots of $$ and time
But I know what youre sayin, Ive thought the same thing many times (every time my lude rattles squeaks or shimmies)
But cmon guy save that cash for

i want to reduce the interior noise a bit also, which i think makes it feel like a newer car, what the hell makes these squeeks and rattles anyways, is it little bolts and plastic pieces in the interior that become weared down and loose over time?? i don't know! But thanks for the reply anyways!
And zooty, i've been spending way too much money on
already! Time to put it to something useful! And I plan on keeping my car probably for the rest of my life, not gonna be my only car though, so i got lots of time, and the money will come little by little, so that's not an issue!
hm... interesting subject.
i don't care about stuff like that though. my main concern is overall performance and reliability. so what if it rattles a little, i don't hear any of it anyway because my exhaust is too loud. as for the solid feel and like-new ride, i'd rather it feel dumped and stiff. love my TEIN's

The interior noise drives me crazy. I hate that plastic on plastic. What I have been doing. Is taking the pieces apart and using some rubber spray. It is made for undercoating but it is black and my interior is black even though you don't see it. I just put some of that on the sections that meet and it seems to eliminate a lot of the noise. You could use some rubber cement or somehting. I am not obsessed with this at all but when I have things apart or free time and feel like working on my car I will do something like that.

You can still have a solid feeling, like new ride and have it dumped and stiff ya know!! I just don't want that hollow feeling car!
Don't mind the squeeks and squishes of the pillowball mount though, that's a nice squeek!!

i know the dynomat really dampens the rattle for boom, but did it reduce the interior noise alot, or just a little??
this is what u do..... get big loud exhaust. real stiff springs.. stripp out the interior.. i mean.. take everything out.. even scrape the tar off the metal under ur seats.. take out the p/s and a/c.. get some 17s w/ low profiles.. that'll give u a new feel. eheheheh
ill try one of these now
