****7/5/11 finally received my parts back today, but it did take some threatening...id advise not to deal with him if you ever come across the name
SO HERES THE STORY...
i know hes on hondatech as boostedek9hatch but not sure of his screen name on other forums but regardless SHAWN BECK from altoone, PA IS A SCAMMER!!!!!!
he contacted me about a trade for my new WORK lug nuts for his steering wheel set up. Me wanting a new quick release i agreed to the trade.
so we agreed that we would both ship out on the same day and we would take pics of the content in the box before shipping, which he did.BUT when we both went to ship i sent him the tracking # and he replied that they closed early so he would ship the next day. so i email him the next day for the tracking number and said he was at work and would give it to me after...next day i ask again and he sends me a pic of a shipping label w/ a tracking number...so i go online to check and it says that only a electronic notice was given but no package was acquired yet..so i email him back and he says that sometimes it takes awhile to go thru.....few days pass and still the same thing pops up when i track it..now im getting mad....so i reply again and he says his g/f "accidently" sent a oem civic si steering wheel instead of the quick release,steering wheel and hub.he asks if i can ship it back when i get it and i say ya not a problem....few more days pass and still no packages..i reply again and he said his x gf works at the post office and hes ganna put a claim in because it probably got lost...so i ask him to just ship my parts back because i feel hes trying to dick me so he agrees..sends me a pic of my parts and says he will ship out next day for sure...next day comes and he says that its closed already and ill have to wait till monday..so today he sends me a tracking number and says he shipped it already but when i use the tracking number it says that only the electronic notice has been given and no package has been received..so i reply again telling him wtf is going on..no reply...i ask for a picture of the ups receipt...no reply...so i send another telling him that were ganna have problems if my parts aint shipped and still hasnt replied....LONG STORY SHORT I NEVER RECEIVED **** FROM HIM AND NOW HES TRYING TO KEEP MY PARTS!
I JUST WANNA PUT THE WORD OUT TO NOT DEAL WITH THIS SCUMBAG..

I contacted boostedek9hatch on his B18C5 long-block w/ 8,000 miles on it. Said he bought it brand new from Honda! But had NO proof...so I backed out. Glad that I DID NOT trust him!

Ya it would have most likely turned into a nightmare..I should add I ended up getting my lugs back but wasn't till I threatened him that my Cousins near him would pay him a visit

hes a scammer... almost 4k of mine.. thank god hes not verify to take the money!!! reported him to oaypal fraud and up to claim!!! got back my money 7/711!!! i check his thread to aware others but theres nothing so i believed he stop... sorry i was late to post... it was the itr motor swap
