I've been reading a lot on what would be a good safety upgrade for my weekend warrior street Del Sol and at the same time keep a semi-clean interior look.

Here is my current plan:
- Roll bar
- 5pt harness
- Seats with 5pt setup
- Harness bar (if I can't use roll bar)
- Stock SRS wheel

Can I attach the 5pt harness straps to a Roll bar? Or would I need a roll bar and harness bar?

Also, what kind of shop can properly install this equipment? Jiffy Lube?

If I'm missing something, please let me know

harness and roll bars if they aren't welded in place will break.

you need a roll cage at least.
otherwise your stock setup with airbags will save you all the same. i've been hit head on by a semi goin 50 and airbags saved me. i think any race you do will be fine.

is that a serious question with the shop? a quick lube place?

Wow. That's quite the hit.

I've read going the roll cage route with a street car was dangerous and would require a helmet.

I'm serious about the question, but the jiffy lube part was a joke

 

No idea on the cage/bar issue, I just know that if you get harnesses, get DOT approved ones unless you plan to wear the OEM belt while on the street.
