currently this is the monster of all set ups and I am doing it.
Sleeved .20 over 2.4L block with fully balanced bottom end with Portflow TYPE S head with custom turbo kit.
in my striped TYPE S this should be a killer set up hope to get some pics up soon.

sorry for not having a point I just wanted some inight as to if anyone else is currently doing this
what I am wondering is if the new Accord has a K motor or the V6 in the same car do ya think it may be possible to use a combonation of different mounts to put the V6 in the RSX
Wow, sounds like a monster setup. Can you give any more specifics on it? What kind of turbo? CR? Expected rev limit? R/S ratio?
Definitely keep us updated

The regular accord is using a K24...the V6 engine is completely different
you not going to have fun revving that 99mm stroke crank let alone trying to keep the thing from breaking itself apart...but id like to see it so good luck to you building the 2.4

2.0L = 86 x 86 square block
2.4L = 87 x 99 super under square block
undersquare block = street motor, good for torque, bad for high RPM
oversquare block = good for high hp high rpm...(example is an Formula 1 motor)

I know the V6 is different. But the K24 is the same size externally as the K20, so if you can fit a K24 in an RSX and you can fit both a K24 and a V6 in the new Accord, would you be able to use the mounts from the V6 Accord to put the V6 in an RSX. Just a crazy thought

So is the Type S head superior to all other K series heads? I dont know all the details. Whats the advantage of the JDM typeR K20 over the type S motor?
from what toda of japan tells me the dc5 type r head is far superior to the rsx type s that we here americans get... can anyone get me a part number for that one???
