I have a 07 civic si I'm having trouble with my transmission or clutch. For a couple of days now I've been running into not being able to shift into first gear while the car is on. I have to turn the car off an start it from first. Well today I try and start the car to warm it up and the car jolts forward in neutral. It feel like the car is stuck in gear. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the car I just bought a new clutch but haven't installed it yet. Does any know what the problem is or have ran across something like this before.

 

yes its usually a clutch issue
