I have a 97 Accord Lx v6. It runs great but i have a problem with my door. When I click lock doors all four door lock up But after 2sec or less the driver side door opens up. I have put my key in and lock it everytime or i have to lock it from the inside and close the door REAL fast so it will be locked. i hate doing this. Thanks is you help

 

Do you hold the inside door handle open when using the electric locks? Hondas have a safety feature and if you do not hold the door handle open the drivers door will not lock. This is to keep you from accidently locking your keys in the car.

 

nope i just get out the car and then press the lock switch. then if i dnt close the door in 1sec the the driver side only opens up then i put the key to lock it. but if i do it from the passenger side all door lock.

 

Pull out on the inside handle when you hit the lock switch. This is a safety feature on Honda's. If you hold the handle out ,hit the lock switch and release the handle the door will stay locked.
