91 civic timing
hey honda-tech, i am at that point where i am in need of changing my timing belt on my EF hatch, does anyone know the porcedures to doing a timing belt job?? my motor is a d15b2 btw thanks everyone
Yes, but your best bet is to buy a manual. You can get them for around $20 and it will be your best investment you can make for you and your car. Read the steps 5 times over and then dive in. Be sure you have all the tools/ specialty tools needed as well before you start (like a torque wrench for example).
Or one could use the search function and get the instructions and get the manual for gratis...
Make sure you get the right manual, as there are differences in timing d15b2 and d16a6 and the sohc zc.

You either need a specialty tool to hold the crank pulley still (you can sometimes rent these) or you need access to air tools to zap the crank pulley bolt off.
Other than that what everyone else said, torque wrench and manual are the most important tools.
