How do i remove an oil pump from ls/b20 motor
You can do it, install a new CKF, of course, but I put a JDM in mine and didn't. Instead, I did the CKF bypass mod and all seems fine.
To pull the oil pump, you're talking about pulling the crank pulley, oil pan, all the covers on front (plastic, if you still have 'em on), timing belt.
You'll also need to file the cover a bit, since the USDM oil pump has the mounting studs for the sensor and a little different shape - so you'll find yourself tweaking the lowest part of the cover to make it match the new pump. Not a big deal when I had mine out of the car - maybe a little more with it in as you have to pop it in to check your handiwork from time to time.
Good luck

really its pretty easy to do. just takes some time. the gasket comes out really easy but just make sure not to damage the new one putting it back in or else youll be tearing it back appart to fix it
