SLOW THE FUKC DOWN!!! this is a residential street, there's about 30 children under the age of 10 in this neighborhood, plus there's a montesory school across the street from my house, not to mention countless animals, that you went BLOWING by crackin your mad vtak to show off to your friends. I'd have written down your license plate number and called the police, but you were going THAT fast. seriously if you HAVE to show off your car go to division or stark.

this happened on Friday, June 24th at 8:24 pm on se 140th ave between mill and main street in SE Portland, Oregon. If any one knows the owner of this car please pass on my message.

ya. i figured it'd have the classic integra deep growl with a stock intake at minimum, hell my single slam has a deep growl to it, but this was super rasp n high pitched. exterior was cleaaaaaaaan with the stock gun metal wheels. I'm not hatin on the car or the fact the driver wants to smash about in his r, just don't do it in a neighborhood... there's PLENTY of places to go WOT in oregon for as long as you can go unless pulled over... why risk hitting some one or something?

 

 

Im not really sure why some of you think this is funny. As the guy stated, there are a lot of children in the area. It would be very easy to hit a child going that fast through a residential area. Hitting and killing a child because you were driving like an idiot really is not funny. You need to be safe with your cars, not just for your own sake but for the people around you. If you want to drive fast or see what your car can do, take it to the track. I am really tired of people involving others in their "accidents".

 

I agree with the OP (and jdmeg6b18b). Dumbass drivers shouldn't be flying through neighborhoods. I also have no idea if the street in quetion is actually a neighborhood street though.

honestly, there are plenty places to run your car but not in a neiborhood. i would be pissed off too if i had a young kid playing outside and some jackass flew by.

 

I agree with the OP and some of the others. It happens to me all the time, probably because these fools know I have Integras.

AS far as you others, maybe it'll take parenthood, a loss of a loved one or just growing up to understand.

 

I live in a nice area but my road is long and it is a secondary road so it see alot of traffic. Alot of young familys live on my street, We dont see alot of police in my area so people will come down from the main road and speed down my road. I have a 3 year old and a 5, I dont let them play out front or ride thier bikes but alot of people do, a few years ago a kid was run over and killed less then a block from me. That person has to live with trying to revive the kid he ran over and the family gets to live without thier child. It can happen, use your head.

agree with the OP, I can not stand when some kid in modified car comes flying down my street. Some of them actually rev their engine when they go by my house. It annoys me also, I too live on a street that has a lot of young children playing close to the street.

 

yup. it was a Flamenco Black Pearl 98-01 itr, had the type r stickers on the sides, gunmetal wheels, no sun roof, itr wing, classic night n day difference at vtec crossover, car was show room spotless too. idk why but ITRs stand out to me when i'm driving around, probably because i want one so bad.

it's the ghetto more or less. there's a whole ton of cheap apartments assisted living places where he's talking about. stark and division are both 45mph streets but their are a lot of small side streets off of them.

it's also one of the most dangerous places to own an itr in all of portland, total high crime area

I live off of a busy street and I get ricers and muscle cars flying by my house (usually reving as they drive by). I think to combat this, I am going to start blasting them with a paint ball gun.

 

Portland has great opportunity to get it out of your system legally, P.I.R. No place for this on the street and I thought HT was against street racing, or its equivalent with one car.

if dude doing the flyby has a passenger, you shoot the car, they call the police and say you shot their car. cops interview, people in car claim they were doing the speed limit and you shot them.
