I would try to find a stock one in the area. I bet both of those cars have been ragged on pretty hard. If you find one in original condition, it was probably owned by someone who wasn't interested in going fast and they are more likely not to rag on it.

The '96 is a bit steep. I guess if you think the stereo stuff is really worth $3k it's not a bad deal. Have you seen both cars?

I have pics of both of the cars, they almost look exactly the same..except different rims and the 96' is tinted....the 96' has been well taken care of he wants 13.7k for it....the 98' i dont really know anything bout until i get a report back from acura because he is getting it checked for me because it does need a 60k check.....I am meeting them both eventually to see the cars..
i really want the 96' because of what he has done to it and he's close and knows his ****....im just puzzled basically...money sucks

i think the price of the 96 is a lil steep too...i bought my 99 with 20k miles on it for that much...it was stock but the people i bought it from were buildin on some other cars so they threw in a thermal catback and comptech filter....good deal imo...if you know the 96 is in good condition make him an offer...just not 14k....thats my opinion anyway

how is the body on the 96? good paint? good interior? also take a look at the engine bay...no doubt the guy has invested some money but when buildin a car imo its hard to get back what you put in so look over the overall condition if everything looks great and it drives good i would say offer 12k and go from there...i know thats a lot lower than what hes askin please dont flame on me...some people will go for it though...like i said i got my 99 for 13.5 and they were askin 15.5...i said ill give you 13 they said 13.5 and i quickly said SOLD....haha...imo offer somethin close to 12k and he will talk you up a little

GSRs are hard to find in allot of places. They're not very common in MI either. I swept the Internet for GSRs within 250 miles of my home in MI. Doesn't mean I'd be willing to pay much of a premium for one, just cuz they're not all over.

I would keep on looking. maybe find something with a lower mileage. the 96 to me is way too much to pay for a car that has 80K miles. The other car is 11000 for 60K miles. not a great deal, but I would keep looking. Good things come to those who wait.

Ya i really want a good deal, waiting is tough because i really want a gsr and dont want a deal to pass me by, because its hard to get one up here in maine...i here there all over cali, wish i could make a trip down there but it would take quite a bit of money and time to do that. Thanks for all the advice so far...
