So I've got a fuel injector code and a no start. Car ran mint, parked for 2 days in which it rained a lot, went to start today and just cranks, doesn't even try to fire. Going to run out and check to see if I have fuel pressure, will report back.

What else to check? Could it possibly be that relay behind the radio I hear everyone talking about?

Yes I have fuel pressure.

 

So I pulled out the litte relay behind the radio, and the car starts now. What do I gain/lose by simply leaving the relay unplugged?

What rely is behind the radio?? And the realy u always hear being talked about is the main relay its located on the driver side kick panle under the dash..

 

Yeah I dident know of any relay behind the radio lol and if he unpluged it and the car started its deff not the main relay

 

plug the relay back in to the car. the relay youre talking about is connected to the dashboard harness if it had anything to do with the car starting the car WOULD NOT start by eliminating the relay because that would be like cutting a wire in a circuit, stopping current flow. unplug the injectors, clean the plugs and plug them back in.my car has been doing this since I bought it but Im doing the mpfi swap anyway so Im using different injectors and hardwiring the injectors to the ecu so that eliminates faulty injectors and . code 16 stands for fuel injection system
