im saving up my cash for a h22 engine swap in my ek sedan. my question is, is it difficult to swap out an auto tranny with another auto tranny? i dont mind driving stick, but this car is also used by my wife at times and i dont want to make it difficult for her. but if it is a must to swap to stick, then so be it. im a noobie in this website so any info is highly appreciated, thanks in advance

 

Auto H22 swap in a '96 - '00 Civic just isn't going to happen, the clearance just isn't there.

 

Teach her to use the stick. Giggity :-)

asking the question itself, i assume YES it will be. and also bc of the h22 into a civic makes it more difficult, but all up to you on how bad you want to do it.

 

Hell, a B-series auto swap into a USDM Civic is really tough.

Yes. It's tight but it fits.
