Default Advice for camber kits

I'm in the process of lowering my 89 crx si. It's currently at the baja (stock) height with 15s. I'm aiming to lower the car to about a 1/4" above the tires so I'm looking at a 2.5" to 2.75" drop. The coilovers I'm using are:

This isn't where I got mine from (mine were only $250).

A year ago I had a del sol that I dropped pretty far, without adjustable cambers and I had really bad tire wear. This time around, I'd like to avoid that problem so I'm looking for camber kits for the front and rear for my crx.

Does anyone know of any good quality vs. price kits available? Also, someone had recommended to me that I could get adjustable ball joints, but from my research they seem to come unadjusted frequently.

Thanks in advance.

Forget about the camber kit.

"This time around" get an alignment to adjust your toe properly. Its the toe that wore out the tires, not the camber.

Would a proper alignment even help the negative camber angle?

I'm sorry if it's a concern that "this time around" I don't want to eat through tires simply because the inside of the tire gets eaten up. An almost 3" seems that I'm going to be put right back where I was with my del sol.

the rear can be fixed with longer screws and washers. for the front i suggest skunk2 arms. thats what im going for since the ingalls i have now dont give me enough positive camber fix.

Negative camber is good.

Toe out due to lowering, bad.

I won't argue this for the hundredth time. I'm sure if you search you'll find numerous justification.

Werd..invest in a proper 4 wheel alignment with a person who is very experienced. If you still see excessive wear, then look at investing into arms..

I did some searching around and saw for the most part that people do in fact use kits.

Just as a place to start, for the front I'm looking at:

http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/viewP...idcategory=250

And for the rear:

http://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/viewP...idcategory=250

Thanks for the suggestion for Blox. I may go with that brand because it's a lot cheaper (and the skunk2 kits were cheaper there too), but at the least they had the skunk2 front camber kit whereas the skunk2 site was backordered.

For now I'm going to look into cheaper alternatives that are still good quality, so if anyone has other suggestions I'm open to them.

x2. You DO NOT need a camber kit.

Whatever you do don't get the "extender" style for the front upper control arms. They will put the UCA too far out and will hit the pinch weld on the inner fender. Skunk2 is the only way to go for those. Those saying that negative camber is ok are one of the three - not driving their car enough, not beating on it/ doing burn outs at the track, or smoking crack. Too much of anything when it comes to suspension is a bad thing, always.

again.. you dont need a kit for the rear. you will use the stock arm and your just spacing it out with washers. One of the ingalls rear camber kit is exactly that.

definetely get the skunk2 a-arms for the front so you wont have clearance problems with the inner fender.
