Icon2 worth fixing up?

I just got a 1989 crx si. it is all original but a little beat up i was wondering if it is worth fixing up. the body kit some kid put on it is basically trashed the shifter has a whole lot of play in it. it could use new tires pretty bad. the rear bumper has a huge gap between the bumper and the body. the weather stripping also all needs to be redone. it also needs a A/C clutch bearing and new distributor. here are some pictures

If you have to ask then no, its not. Put it on craigslist. Where do you live? I will buy it.

Subzero knockoffs/wingswest fiberglass knockoff/painted valve cover/ mad tyte non functioning dual mufflers= extra fail. At least you got a quick release hub, should be worth 20 bucks. Strip it and get over night parts from Japan. You will be rustin hoods in no time buddy.

p.s. your parents don't you to park that pos in front of their house. trust me.

Rolling on the floor laughing my *** off.. Did you just run out side and take that video? Aww... you got me on the mufflers.. They are pretty bad *** now that it has been confirmed they both actually work. Since the mufflers work you have a good base to build your car off. Just figure out which swap you want, its pretty easy nowadays. Right?

research before you post.. there are plenty of threads with info on how to fix up your car, where to find parts (both aftermarket and oem) and if you wanna fix it.. fix it up.

hmmm new dizzy about 150, put some 90-91 bumpers on there, ditch the passenger can, maybe new tail lights kind of fits the paint tho, vacuum the interior n get some new seats. oh n pull the core support out, it looks bent like some one jacked the car up in the wrong place on there. or sell it to me, i'd love a road trip down to tn n back w my pop

the slop in the shifter is at the U joint. I realized the core support was bent too. anything i can do about that? what would be a good price for this car if i decide to sell it?

That car in its condition induces vomiting.

I would:
-put on stock bumers
-stock trim
-stock exhaust
-stock tail lights
-decent wheels
-proper suspension (even OEM)
-Buy new custom floormats
-get seats reconditioned or find new seats or "stock-ish" after market
-Leave same color (but match new OEM parts)
-Make trim around the car black again.

scrap this one, buy a clean(ER) non molested CRX and go from there...
and if you have to make a video to confirm your civic "dual exhuast" then thats just FAIL!! all over!

dont make yourself come off as an ***, bcuz people on here like to give constructive criticism, and say whats on their mind. dont get butt hurt, just let it roll of your shoulders, and listen to the advice give.

and my advice is, if the core support is messed up, you can try to pull it out, or find another CRX and replace it. but it would honesly be easier finding another ride to use as a project platform

wow guys no need to knock the car he did get it for free and over all it's in pretty good condition. o/p the side skirts are part of the kit, but IMO look good, however make changing out the fender a royal PITA cuz they're "molded" into the fender to look flush. fix it n drive it. crx si's are becoming rare, especially ones in over all good condition like yours is...

just noticed your drivers front wheel is pushed back, pull wheel off and inspect suspension for bent/broken/damaged parts
