Default Hasport CMA

I'm just wondering how well these work for the most part. I've seen that Innovative makes their conversion as well but they're smoking crack if they think I'm going to pay $250 for their bracket. I'm also wondering what people used to complete these setups and mounting locations. I'll be using this in a CRX btw. I do have the EFBCHL but don't want to run the risk of snapping cables.

I personally have the suja1 hydro conversion which mounts the clutch master under the dash and eliminates the clutch cable completely, which IMO is the better way. i paid about 150 for the bracket and about 60 for the clutch line, which you also need to get a clutch master and slave. however if you have ac you will have to remove the air duct that goes from the HVAC unit to the driver side vent.

here are a couple pictures of mounting locations

you can put the CMA anywhere the clutch cable reaches. then run a line from the clutch master to the slave on the trans

I had poor results when using hydraulic conversions that still require the use of the cable. I tried the Innovative kit with master cylinder and the first version of the Hasport kit with the mechanical lever. I experienced excessive clutch pedal effort and difficulty shifting due to the pressure plate not being completely disengaged.

I now have the Suja1(Sonem) hydraulic conversion and had much better results. Also try looking into the Hush22 conversion kit which looks like a great alternative to any of the kits that still require a clutch cable.

This image is from their facebook page.

This is our production model

This is our V2.5. Multi-mount point conversion. Triangulated for ridigity and fitment. Multi use CMC mount plate to fine tune shift point and line pressure.
