There a member back there that in here every now and then. B18c something. His avatar has a rabbit with a pancake on his head. I'll try to find his name for you. Maybe he can help you out. Its not hard to diy it.
basically it's an alarm that's installed in a way that a thief can't just stick his hand up the dash on the driver side and ripped out in a snap.

^ there's a good example, hiding an alarm behind the cluster

so make sure you put a siren hidden inside the car as well as a backup battery and hide your kill switches there is too many stolen cars right now so i figured i would help out with this post... and what i have on my hatch you cant even get in the car unless you jiggle the rear hatch everything is disconnected on the doors.... cant use a key on the outside and cant pull the window and unlock from the inside there is nothing there
x2^, doing a stealth alarm install is all about being creative and going your own unique route to hiding the alarm brain and siren and all of that so it's hard for the thief to locate. it's all about not being like every other honda they steal. if they can figure your alarm brain is right up the driver side of the dash, your sirens in your engine bay, and your killswitches are by the center console, then it was a bit pointless...
so for the interior, did you just get a door panel from a rear door of a 4dr?

make sure you go above and beyond what that website says, i was talking to a retired car theif the other day and he said that he looked in the fenderwells for the sirens under the back bumper and he would pop the hood and disconnect the battery...

no i used the 2 door panel, i have a cx hatch so i dont have power locks or anything but i cut the rod that goes to the unlock thing inside the car and i put it actuators and wired in relays, i did my stealth alarm took me 9 hours and i dont have any kill switches, dont need them the alarm kills 3 things of the car, and if you find my brain and disconect the alarm it kills another relay i have wired up to my ignition (spark) kill so either way they cant get it unless they tow it...
i let that guy get in my car and look for my alarm and everything he couldnt find it so i was happy then he was looking for kill switches and was like you dont have any kill switches and i was like nah man i dont need them
you can wire in relays in sequence or to seperate triggers to do different things, it all depends on your alarm but i have a 310hv viper nothing nice not a 2 way or anything and i still have my car

another thing he said was most people leave their battery loose so it makes it easy to disconnect even tho he said he brought wrenches he said it makes it harder if the battery is tight...
also having a clutch lock and the club is a good deterrent even though the clutch lock you can jiggle with a oil dipstick still takes time...
so im just putting that out there maybe people will be more precautious about their ride, my homies ej1 with a b20 swap got jacked and i have been telling him to atleast pull the main relay and ecu and his detachable, but he got lucky and they took minor **** so yea...
i dont like hearing about peoples cars getting stolen, but they dont take the neccesary precations to keep it from being stolen, yea its sad we have to do all this **** to protect a 3k honda but if you want to keep your ride dont be stupid and protect your ****
I think the best way to keep a car from being stolen is to get a mil spec engine harness with the firewall connector and just remove the connector and ecu from inside the car.Even if they have an ecu they still need the wiring harness and the time to install it.
yea but unless everyone runs their milspec harness different wire cordinations then all it is, is plug n play to a thief they will buy whatever it needs to get ur car if they want it trust me
Time is a thiefs enemy. The mil spec stuff is a great option it will make it almost impossible for them to get just one half of a harness. They will need to bring a full engine harness and install it while they are bending over into the engine bay they wont go through the trouble. On the other hand if you have a car that has enough parts on it for them to go through that trouble and take the chance of getting caught or beaten then its your fault for parking it on the street.

and i wouldnt shoot anyways unless they had a gun then i would shoot drag them in my house kick my door in and say they broke in, if they are dead its a one way arguement
LOL sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands.
I had a friend who was shot by a couple of car thieves when his sti was stolen.I think the only way to really make sure your car doesnt get stolen is to keep it in a garage and keep an eye on it at meets and shows if thats what your into.I personally dont have to worry about that since I run a cop setup on my car so it isnt going to be easy to steal it without a distributor or ecu that can run cop lol

On my personal car. It can only run one ecu. And it has to be mine. Try to plug in a diffrent one. ANd the car will not run and burn what ever ecu you plug in. The key to a alarm is to keep the car from starting and drawing unwanted attention to the car. Towing is not part of that. Gps is what you want if your worried about towing or what to know what going on with your car at all time. Look at a gps unit with earliy warning. No way a thief will not get caught in the car. No time if the car is done right.
