Daytime running light relay bypass?
It's been a long time since I have rad up on these.
I atually wanted to add DRLs to my USDM car a long time ago, but sourcing the parts became too much of a hassle so I gave up.
Anyway, try disconnecting the DRL resistor box. ot sure if this will kill the regular use of the headlights, but I don't think it should.

thanks guys. i'll try the fuse first, then the relay.
i was reading that removing the fuse would work, just wasn't sure which fuse it was.

removing fuse 16 is also going to disable several other things like parking brake light, brake fluid level light, etc. - as 4drEF said, you would be better off disabling the white/red wire between the daytime running lights relay and the daytime running lights resistor

Hi guys I have owned a Honda crx for the last 11 years and I have had many problems but when my running lights quit working I was baffled dint know were to start. So I came on to the Honda tech site started doing some research. It helped me find my DRL. The DRL on my 1990 CRX SI was under the glove box. I removed it and Immediately started looking for my DRL. 1990 CRX has a Mitsuba RZ-0095 Relay. I could not find a relay anywhere for my car. Looked everywhere junk yards, even called the local Honda dealer to find out that they were $129.99. But im cheap and I still kept searching. So I found this web site how to repair the DRL. Check it out and it actually works A1
If your having running light problems I will nearly guarantee its your DRL.
