This is indirectly related to Hondas and Turbo engines, but none the less extremely relevant to us as "Tuners"
You young people who were born after 1985 need to see this documentary regarding the change in development of turbocharged engines in Formula 1 relative to what you are experiencing today.
The fact that many of H-Ters take for granted engine management, mapping, fuel and the right turbocharger based on forums need to understand where this all came from. What you use as a 300whp daily driver, back in 1985 was worth over several million dollars in R&D from Ford, Honda, Ferrari, and BMW.
Please. Please take a look at this, especially at 7:10 of Video 1. Please learn that if we don't remember our history, we are bound to repeat the same mistakes. I know that's old people talking. But please.. Peep this when thinking about whether or not you really know about turbos as much as you claim. Even I was truly amazed as to how far we've come over the last 27 years.

Watched these two videos a few times now, decent. Laughed at the part with Keith Duckworth the inventor of the ledegendary Ford Cosworth DFV, hence the worth in Cosworth he hated turbo charged engines. The first ford F1 engines were a type of bdt engine as later found in the rs200 rs1800 etc

And to think, young people look at the EPROM Ecu and can't believe that an oscillator was used to program. That was EXPENSIVE stuff back then
