Default FI: Reduces engine life?

Im new to the whole Honda scene, so i just got a quick question. Will a turbo reduce the life of a Honda engine and/or will it make the car lose the reliablility and all that it is known for? I know all about supporting fuel for psi, etc, but the engine is still taking a beating when you put FI on a N/A car. I was just wondering how peoples cars (esp integras) were holding up, and whether they have/have seen cars with FI last as long as non FI (250k+ mi)

They probably hold up better than a DSM with 250k+ miles

They can do just fine...any factory turbo car takes as much of a beating as a car that was turbcharged after the fact. As long as you do it right and take care of it, it will take care of you.

I think most of the turbo car (even those from factory) will see 250+k without any problem. Take DSM, Supra, Rx7 for example, you will see a rebuild at some point. However, if a engine is built correctly for FI, and not abused. it should hold up for a good period, 60k-70k no problem.

I am acutually building an engine for tha purpose, here is my setup

CR 9.2 with forge piston
stainless steel valve
darton stage 2 sleeves
hondata
crower turob cams
t3/t4
...

Most pple will say this engine can hold up 25+psi, but I am only running 1 bar or less on daily basis. I am hoping to get couple years out of it (unlike most engine around here).

more power will always decrease engine life but not to the point where it's not worth it, as long as it's done right (IMO)
