Default 96 civic vs 2004 e55 amg DO i have a chance?

I have this guy that has a stage 3 04 e55 amg and he wants to race my civic. (At the track) and just don't wanna get my *** handed to me.

My specs are

BW s366 t4 91a/r
Dart mid sleeved 84mm
victor x intake
custom twin scroll top mount
Hondata s300
1200cc injectors
lsd ls trans
nitto's

I've been doing alot of street tuning and I'm in 16psi and it pulls real good. Yes i know I need to get to the dyno but I would esimate my car at 400+plus right now on pump gas.

I beat an amg e55 at the track when I was making 300whp. But I was on slicks. I ran a 7.8 and he ran a 7.9

I know a guy named Malcom that went 11.40's with a pulley, intake and a chipped ECU on 18' Nitto drag radials, full interior with dvd and subs in the trunk. I don't know what Stage 3 consists of but with a handful of mods it goes 11.40's so running low 11's or high 10's would be on the safe side.

I would definitely get some slicks if you don't have much experience on street tires. If the E55 is bone stock then it should be a good race but the only way to find out is to run! Report back on how it goes down.

on the highway (freeway) you would murder that e55.. But at the track, its a different story!

If you run faster than 11.49 or faster, i'm sure the amg guy is going to look like a sillyass kid. lol
good luck!

SL 55 AMG 2door with couple mods run - 12.0 @ 113
S55 AMG 4 door with pulley, exhaust, reflash - 12.2 @ 117
CLS 55 am 4 door stock. 12.9 @ 107 or 108.
these are the true time from our local Great Lakesdragaway. Not no car and driver times lol

ps- get some slicks!!

If you don't have a 10 sec slip in your pocket i wouldn't be too confident....stage 3 E55's go 10's. My friend Ahmad's benz go's 10.30 at full weight no spray, stock motor. His is considered " stage 3 ". Basically like Ricky was saying i seen many do and go 11's hardly modded. Alot of these guys now spray the **** out of a stage 3 car cause the motors can handle the abuse. So i would assume he has spray. The Benz guys lately are on a giggle gas TRIP they all have it.

They are pretty quick cars.. If the one Rick is talking about is White with a cage (that one is Fasttt, a freak really).. I have ran a few out here and had them covered with easeee on 15 psi (making around 450whp'ish on a slick)

If you car is a sub 11.50 car, you can consider it $ in the bag! Just don't miss a gear!

E55 amg 4door to make them go 10s... you need literally about 550 to 650 rwhp. and stage 3 kit is not gonna do it. I'm talking bot 10.7x-10.9s
We had s55 Amg here yesterday on the dyno with I/H/E relflash ecu, smaller pulley (11psi~) only made high 400s to the rear wheels but torque was insane... anyways... OP,
Turn the boost up to 22 psi with little bit of race gas, slicks and good tune.. you will have no problem beatin the nice luxury car. lol
