No.

Will he notice a difference? No...

1 thing though, the preps aren't big enough. I'd strip it and redo them.

Looks good, any plans for bracing the turbo? Just curious if you have had issues hanging a 72mm that far off the block with no bracing.

Mine was similar, not braced, never had an issue with an S372 hanging off it. sch 40

I'd be more worried about head studs/threads in the head than I would with the manifold.

Thank you guys!

One more question if you have the time..

Once you finished tacking everything together like you have pictured; Do you just start tigging away or do you break a runner off, tig it on a bench, re attach and move to the next one?

Hope that makes sense,
Thanks for your time,
Dk

Remove the runners and weld on bench. They will shrink a little though. So might not line up when you come to put them back on the manifold. (all part of the fun )

Thank you.

This is just to make all the seems easy access right?

Also, I've got a fabricator friend, he claims to be a novice, but churns out some of the most beautiful hand fabbed pieces I've ever seen. We were talking about the whole equal length vs equal pressure debate. He brought up a simple method that makes sense to me. Pretty much he adds up bend degrees per runner and equals all 4 runners out.. Says he will focus more on this vs equal length. Any insight?
