I have a 1992 ACURA INTEGRA LS 1.8 A/T starts, runs and stalls, the S3 indicator light is always blinking, recently had the A/T shift cable replaced with a 94-01 cable that i had to modified. Could this be my problem?

THINGS IVE DONE ALREADY:
1.REPLACED FUEL FILTER
2.CLEANED ALL DISTRIBUTOR COMPONENTS
3.CLEANED IACV, FITV,
4.CHECKED INJECTORS FOR CLOGS
5.CLEANED THROTTLE BODY
6.CHECKED SPARKS PLUGS
7.REPLACED CAT W/ STRAIGHT PIPE
8.CHECKED TIMING BELT

Why does the S3 light flash and why does my car bog out and stall?

If anyone has any ideas please help me

 

Maybe a vacuum leak. Ceck all the little bullshit rubber hoses coming off the intake mani

 

IVE CHECKED THEM FIRST BEFORE I REPLACED THE FUEL FILTER BUT ILL CHECK THEM AGAIN,
MY S3 LIGHT KEEPS FLASHING AND IT STARTS UP BUT IDLES CRAZY AND THAN STALLS

 

My 1992 Acura Integra starts up but idles crazy, bogs than stalls out.
I just recently had the shift linkage replaced it with a 94-01 linkage that had to be modified is this the source of my problem?

Also had the cat removed and replaced with a straight pipe.

THINGS IVE DONE ALREADY:
replaced fuel filter
cleaned all distributor components
cleaned the IACV, FITV,
checked injectors for clogs
cleaned the throttle body
checked spark plugs
replaced cat with a stright pipe
checked timing belt


My S3 light is constantly blinking what might that indicate?
Ive checked for a vacuum leak doesn't seem to be the problem.

IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME WOULD MEAN A LOT!! ILL TRY ANYTHING TO GET MY BABY RUNNING AGAIN!!!!!

Just S3 is flashing on my dash..
The car turns on and idles but it idles crazy and than bogs and stalls out

A blinking S3 light indicats a transmission fault.

How many times does it blink, the S3 light will come on for about 2 sec. when ign. is turned on, then it will blink a code, count the number of blinks. 94

PS, yes the modified shift linkage may be the problem.

 

before it dies, does the engine actually idle crazy? or is it just the tach acting erratic before it dies?

 

The S3 light blinked one time with the check engine on than went off.
TCM flashed the code 1, than 1,2. What does this mean??

 

The engine bogs down than stalls out and makes a funny sound after. Like compression????

 

its throwing code 1, than 1 2???

 

I replaced the A/T shifter cable WITH A 94-01. Not the linkage. Would that cause my problems?? Also considering that the shifter actually doesn't go to S4 but from S3 to D skipping the other one completely. It is also throwing me codes 1. than 1, 2.
May be the guy who did the new shifter cable put in the wrong transmission fluid? Could that cause these problems?

Any insight would be helpful.
