Okay can anyone else see other than me think of any reasons why my tps sensor throws a code and stops working when i put a new water pump in. Timing is dead on i have checked it 4 times and was very careful.

car will cut fuel at 3200 and then chokes on air cause the ignition keeps firing?
has no power and idles choppy.
Ecu is flashing code 7

 

No - but just test the voltages at the input and output of the sensor; then run it through it's range to see if there is a dead spot. Either that or just replace it, they are cheap.

 

yea went i got off work thats what im going to do.
Green is ground
yellow is 5v?
and the third is the feedback?

 

TPS and MAP sensor have the same type of plug.

Any chance you plugged them in the wrong spot?

 

naw the werent switched kill this thread one of the ecu plugs was half plugged in.
