Default em1 b20z dizzy question

Just did a b20z2 swap in my 2000 em1 and it wont start. My question is if a 98 ls distributor is the one i need to work with my si harness? Also, my knock sensor isnt hooked up, could that be why it wont start?

What ecu and distributor are you currently using?

P75-A05 is a 99-01 ecu with an immobilizer. It must be defeated to make the car run and then you must also move pin A16 to A15 at your ecu. That is the fuel pump relay signal.

The car will run fine, but it will have a permanent CEL due to the defeated immobilizer.

Thanks bro, that helped a lot! But this may be a dumb question... how do I bypass the immobalizer?

Search. Someone here can do it, but the people who can are tight lipped since it is defeatin an anti-theft system. I kinda gave up, I'm going to try and find an obd2a ecu and swap plugs over at the ecu. From what I read you can't defeat the MIL that comes with defeating it either. Maybe someone will chime in here.

Sorry I couldn't give you a more definitive answer, good luck and let me know what you find out. I'd really like to run the obd2b ecu if I can.
