Clutch Slipping Issue
Hi folks.
Yesterday as I was driving home through a big rainstorm I went through some water that quite possibly couldve went into the trans.
Unfortunately my dumbass doesnt have the inspection plate on. Didnt think much of it, went and parked the car in the garage and let it sit.
Well today, when I was driving it, I did a small pull in 4th and the clutch started slipping bad.
As of right now, the clutch isnt slipping horribly. I however, can tell that there is some slipping going on when in full boost and 4th gear.
Could the water have messed anything up by any chance? Is something like this permanent, or should I just leave it and give it a few days to "clear up".
Not really sure what to do, wasnt many topics like this on google that had answers.
Heres my setup
2000 GSR Turbo
300ft lbs of torque
Competition Stage 5 sprung 4 puck clutch
ACT 12lb flywheel
Quaife LSD
Prior to this, the car never gave me any signs of clutch issues at all.
any suggestions or answers would be helpful
thanks!
