As far as gasket goes you can use either. Some people say the non-vtec gaskets sit better than the vtec gaskets, but its really a matter of opinion. Personally I would go with a golden eagle.

Check this thread out if you haven't already. Lots of good info. --> https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...ghlight=bambam

Get the GE ls/vtec conversion kit. I have it on my LSV swap. It has 50-60k miles on it and still runs like it did when it was first built. Had a guy build it for me, since I had no clue on how to do it. Fun swap though if u have some ITR pistons in it. Good Luck man

people that dont build them right, people that think that because they now have a head that can rev to 9 grand the whole motor now magically can, people that run hack job half *** cheap oil lines and kits.

im doing an lsvtec today... i have golden eagle dowel pins and im going to use a 2layer gsr headgasket why do u ask i use a gsr headgasket, well because instead of tapping the hole in the bottom of the head, i had mine tig welded and machined, and i would rather my coolant ports line up and my oil drain ports be off by a little then the other...
