03 civic hatch sir
The srs light is on, apparently there has been air bag issues with these cars? Something to do with a seat belt buckle? Maybe someone knows a little more on that issue? I dont want to dump 400 bucks on the airbag system for the light to only come back on a couple months down the road.
I don't recall the ever hearing issues with the air bag systems of the EP3... try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes and then plugging it back on and starting the car. It should clear the SRS light... Although you need to go drive your car for minimum 1 hour so the ECU can relearn all it's maps and throttle responses.
Make sure to have your radio code before doing this so you can have a functional radio... unless you have an aftermarket radio no worries then!

I tried disconnecting the battery for 15min then hooked it up. Light was still on which makes sense. I had it checked out today, came up code p3-8 i believe. its a Seat position senor. Thats a relief.
do the diy for srs light reset before going to the dealership
just disconnecting the battery wont fix the light all the time
i replaced my steering wheel and it stayed on until i did the srs reset
if after doing the srs reset and it's still on(try it more than once it just to make sure)
then something is wrong with your airbag system
at that point then i'd go to the dealership
they won't do it for free, car is most likely out of warranty
