hello im having some major brake problems....peddle goes to the floor at times then i have good strong brakes so i thought it was air in the lines, bleed the lines and had good pedal for about 3 hours then back to the same thing,pedal to the floor now its to the point of having to down shift and use the e-brake just to come to a stop im thinking master cylinder but im not sure

 

You have a leak in your system. It's most likely your master cylinder, but I would give everything a good once over to make sure it's not leaking somewhere else.

 

Yup, I say it's also the MC. Mine did the same last summer. It'll slowly sink; especially, on them hot days. Finally got around to replacing it last year, and problem solved.

 

thanks nus thats what i was thinking it is but i dont feel like buying parts and knot knowing what the problem is...after throwing out 400 on a new dizzy

 

Is your system losing fluid? If it is you have a leak. If it isn't losing fluid you have a bad MC.
