If you give us a little more info as far as setup an car that it is in. it will help to give better
Opinion but im almost positive that the torque a J-series makes is way to much for 22" slicks im sure 24" will work fine. I mean if ur worried about them being to big just leave more air pressure in them.

its just a j32a2 swapped into an si eg hatch bone stock just a 3in intake other than that stock...has lots of torque but just dont know what exacly to get because i dont want to end up buying some 24in for 550 and being just a waste and right now i can get 22in mounted on 13s for 250 but they reccomended me 23in what do you guys think??

I think 24's would be to much of a tire for you. 22''s or 23's would work fine
Thats just my opinion

Im stepping up to a H&M 23x8.5-15. The 22s spun too much for me, but they where used slicks.

what you need to figure out is what the gear ratios are and do the math on how fast the different tire sizes will allow you to go. if you put 22" slicks and run out of gear before the line your no better off with 24" slicks that will allow you o do 155mph in 4th. You need to find a happy medium.
