Default Alarm works when i connect the battery and doesnt after i start the car

Im having a problem with my 1996 Integra Ls Auto. I bought it as a stolen recovery and had to replace the ignition switch and key cylinder ( had cylinder cut to the key that opens the door ). I replaced the battery and once i connect the terminals, the alarm would go on and with a click of the alarm it'd go off and works perfectly fine if i keep hitting the alarm button, but once i start up my car, the alarm would not work anymore until i disconnect the battery and reconnect it. Please, any input would be helpful ( Alarm looks like it was installed from the dealer, name of the alarm company is PRIME )

Alarm brain is "latching up", it is defective, replace the alarm. 94
