axle q

im dropping engine/ trans into a 90 ef hatch but i cant even come close to getting the axles to get up from under the trans to slide in........what do I do?

What motor/trans do you have? Which side of the car is giving you difficulty? Are you trying to put the axles into the transmission but already have them in the hubs?

i got them in, d16a6, and the driverside was giving me a hard time going in the last half inch and getting the lowerball joint to line up, but after much perseverance i got it in and bolted it back up
