Default finally worked the bugs out at the track

So after a couple rough seasons with the car i've finally got this setup figured out and improving little by little. Had some trans issues last year so didn't hardly get to do any testing let alone races. over the winter put a frana dogbox in the car to end all worries. Also installed a new set of prayoonto stg 2 cams and retuned the car. We only took the car to 28psi on the dyno but we'll finish it from there at the track. First couple times out this year I couldn't get the car to go anywhere. kept falling on it's face right off the line and had no power or boost to back it up. changed a few small things that people on here gave me ideas to check and bam first pass out after that went smooth. still have a lot of dialing in to do and then work on turning it up. short track isnt where it should be but they dont prep on TnT nights.

60ft. 1.680
330 4.504
1/8 6.676@116.18
1000 8.504
1/4 10.036@145

2nd pass was almost the same with a 10.027@147

couple pics

national trail raceway here in ohio. pretty decent track they just don't prep on TnT nights. there is another index race this weekend i'm gonna try and get out to and tweak with the car some.

honestly not sure what exactly fixed the problem but I believe it was the map sensor plaement. what I thought was boost loss on the logs wasn't. xenocron and nos51 gave me a good idea about the map sensor. I took it out of the intake manifold and mounted it on the chasis with a vac line going to it. i did that and found a small leak at the throttle body but it is still leaking just a hair by the throttle rotor. accufab 90mm mustang throttle body as soon as i get the chance i'm swaping it out for a q45 one.

Car looks great! With more dialing in, it will go much faster! Hope to see you in the north east for some events! Good luck for the rest of the season.

Thanks for all the kind words guys but it was short lived lol. I'm at the track now made one pass and it's doing the same thing as before. I don't get it. Made 6 passes last time out and it ran flawless. Didn't change anything and now it's back to having no power.
No check engine lights or anything it just feels like I'm losing all power. The one thing on this car I've never liked is the accufab 90mm throttle body. Has anyone else had trouble with them? It had a slight leak at the throttle rotor and I sealed it up last time before going out I'm wondering if it's that causing the issues. Is there any other good 90mm bodys out there besides the Infiniti q45?

thanks guys. ended up making a second pass at the track tonight after the first failed run. didn't change anything except upload a few changes on the map and it ran fine second run. well besides the fan blade getting hung up on the shroud and tearing half the blades off. fan ended up locking up too so that made that a day for me. was going to turn it up but didn't get a chance.

60ft 1.694 < bogged a little as soon as i left. either need more rpm or more on antilag
330 4.495
1/8 6.700 @114mph
1000 8.539
1/4 10.089@145mph

i have boost what I think pretty low in second and third. Not sure how much i can crank it up in the lower gears without blowing the tires off. How much of help is it putting weight on the traction bars/in front of the front tires? Also what are you guys revving the car to at the track? i have my rev limiter set at 9300 and it seems it may drop a bit too low out of the sweet spot between shifts. i full throttle shift pretty quick too i think i may need to rev higher but not sure what is too much.

pic after I got home from the track.

10.0 index class here i come lol.

I really need to mess with the boost by gear in the lower gears to see what it will handle and what it won't hold to the track. My last setup i ran for 3 years was on 13-14psi wastegate psi so i didn't every mess with boost by gear. it ran pretty consistant as well 10.3-10.4@136mph

it made a hair over 500 on 14 psi. that was when it was the stock motor on a 35r. this setup is built to handle a lot. i want to work on the short track first and then start turning it up in the higher gears. If I can get my 330' down to where it was last year (4.30) I'll be happy and it should go a 9.80-9.7 as it sits. I thought almost 800hp would have a little bit mph behind it as well but maybe that's because i don't have much in it down low.??
