I'm helping my buddy diagnose his issue. He's got a 09 Si and when we get right at around 55mph there is a faint ticking noise coming mainly from the passenger side but it also does it on the driver side too. He never uses AC so its not the compressor. Any input is appreciated.

Does he have the HFP body kit? Mine was installed loosely with a gap at the front, the wind turbulence would make an oscillating tapping noise at speed.

 

Nope,stock body. The only mods are Eibach Sportlines,Enkei Rv5,intake,exhaust,few other heres and theres. It made the noise before any mods were done though.

 

ITS ONLY AT 50 PLUS? have you rollede next to a wall to see if you could make out if it was metal on metal or whatever?
