Default ac fixed..now got some noise

yup yup...i got mine fixed....very very small leak, so i just got it filled with the gas and added some dye....

the guy said it could possible dissappear, since the seals will expand out now buecause i actually have a/c in the car

but when i was driving home...i realized that the a/c puts a HUGE load on the car.

also, i had some weird noise, kinda like engine noise from not having a proper ground. does anybody know what this could be?

Are you talking about a noise like what you hear on the radio or a high pitched metal clicking noise only when the AC is on, Honda AC Compressors can start to go bad when they make this very fast clicking noise but maybe you are talking about a humming noise, this could be one of your belts or the timing belt, put a little water on the belts and see if the noise goes away, if not look at the alternator bearing making noise, maybe a bit of water will make that noise go away momentarilly also (internal). Good luck, let us know.

yea...its like engine noise...like the radio high pithced noise you get when the system isnt' grounded properly. it does seem like its coming from underneath the passenger side somewhere.

its not a clicking noise, its exactly liek engine noise....as i speed up the noise gets more high pitched, then i change gears and the noise drops again.

it comes weather i have the radio on or not

maybe a belt is too tight. I would check your belt tension and adjust as needed.

check the ac belt as it might be the one that is too tight since you only notice it when the ac is on. it could be some other things like compressor going bad or faulty clutch.
