Oh my! Please tell me this is not the new Fad now-a-days?

That would be a PITA as well as a pointless swap. You are better off just doing a mini-me of something or swapping in a JDM D15 (right Tony ;-P). As they say though - With enough time and money, anything is possible.

i was just wondering because the hatch i have has been in a flood and i just drained like 8 quarts of water/oil out of the motor and same out of the trans ......and i know where a whole 89 accord is for $150 and since i had never heard of anyone using that motor that it would be unique....and the accord still has a cat on it and so really i would end up with basically a 90 bucks

Waste of time and money. Buy the Accord, fix that instead. If your hatch was in a flood, you can bet your wiring is suspect...

Not worth the effort or time. If you have to ask, the swap would be too difficult for you.

yes you can do it. there is no kit. it is a complete custom build and fabrication and swap. if unique is your goal have fun. if cost is a factor, don't do it.
