Automatic Ignition switch Lock
So i replaced my original ignition switch in my 90 cr-x with an automatic switch, only problem is to take the key out, the negative cable has to be removed, not a huge issue, but gets quite annoying. Is the a wire or a way to ground the switch, or un-ground the switch to prevent this? Id rather not purchase another switch, thanks in advance for any help or ideas.
Yes, you can complete the circuit that is required to remove the keys. I am not sure which two wires they are but I would assume it's the two that are not being used. There was a member on here who just did an Auto to Manual swap so I am sure he knows.
Ok, so i found there is a 3 pin connector comming off the ignition switch, it runs to the fuse box, unplugged it, key comes out fine and car starts and runs fine. Hope this helps anyone because i couldnt find nothing on it.
