I got the injectors from the 96 that I bought all the vtec swap parts from. I compared the connectors to my 92 harness and dammit they are barely slightly different. so I would have to very carefully file down this tiny tab on the outside of the 96 injector's plastic connector, then they will plug in.
Question: is it worth the trouble or are they the same size injectors? my dx injectors have 135k mi, the EX ones have 65k.

I have both feul rails too, I would guess the 96 EX is better, but have seen my 92 DX feul rail on the DOHC engine swap that went into the 96 EX I am getting vtec parts from.

same flow rate. maybe the fact that they are newer they may be in better shape.
but a little fuel injector cleaner would settle that

 

yeah this is the info i got as well.... that all honda injectors have the same flow rate except for one or two prelude models.... I have my 99 DX injectors and fuel rail on my B18 as we speak...

well i don't know if that qualifies for a thumb up... haha but maybe one for bravery since i did it before i knew what's up... haha

 

use your injectors brian, they will hook up to yoru wiring easier. (plus you can change them easier later.) the 96 has obd 2 clips and you have obd1 clips.

They will be made by Kehin (japan) or IPT (USA). The IPT are more prone to deposit buildup resulting in misfires, poor spray pattern, and detonation. However, if you run some good cleaner through them every once in a while (techron concentrate) you should be fine.
