Default si ecu on 97 spec type r swap

A month ago I swapped a 97 spec JDM b18c with s80 tranny into my 00 si, until today I ran the stock si ecu, and it ran like a champ, tons of power and boat loads of torque compared to the b16. today my jumper harness arrived and I swapped in the p73 ecu that came with my swap, it still runs great but to me it just seems like the lower end torque around 3-4k rpms isnt there like it was with the si ecu. Has anyone had this or heard of anyone having the same issue?

You should bring the car to the dyno, and try both ecu to compare the power curves.....they can be deceiving
