If you suspect a leak, take it to a shop and have them check it.

Does the clutch on the compressor engage, or does it only click?

Connect the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals of the compressor clutch relay 4P socket with a jumper wire.

COMPRESSOR CLUTCH RELAY 4P SOCKET

Does the compressor clutch click ?

YES - Go to step 6.

NO - Go to step 14.

Disconnect the jumper wire.
Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
Measure the voltage between the No. 3 terminal of the compressor clutch relay 4P socket and body ground.
COMPRESSOR CLUTCH RELAY 4P SOCKET

Is there battery voltage?

YES - Go to step 9.

NO - Repair open in the wire between the No. 14 fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box and the compressor clutch relay.

thanks" IT wasn't me" for answering..

"This is what i did...and the compressor did click..did not engage at all...this test is done with car engine off"

How would you know if the clutch actually engaged unless the engine was running?

So if you test terminals 1 and 2 and the clutch does NOT click or engage with the car on what would the fuse box be the problem?

Pfft! You have a manual, and you can't figure this out?!

You should be able to sort this out on your own. Follow the procedures, rule out the possibilities, find the culprit, fix it.
