Well i just bought a 97 ex and when i got home i noticed there was oil coming from somewhere. At first i thought it was the rear main but then i noticed what looked like a bolt missing from the trans by the starter. Im pretty sure its just motor oil in the trans spewing out of this hole. Can someone tell me what goes here? Should i just plug it with a bolt

 

do your reverse lights work? i think thats where the reverse switch goes, not to sure though.

speed sensor sits farther back on the tranny, and the rpm signal comes from the distributor.

 

speed sensor has the plug right on the sensor, not a cable attached.

 

what he said... it sits on top of the differential where the axels go in
