BEST WAY TO TUNE A GREDDY KIT? (afc, fpr, or other ideas?) On Dyno!
I have a 97 civic LX , obd2, does anybody have any expierieces with tuning their car on a dyno with the greddy blue box intack. What did you use? Right know in ways of tuning, I don't have much. Just a walbro 255 and fuel pressure regulator. I am hopeing to get to the dyno today at NRG racing and I really want to make mine and the tuners time worth while. I realize that if I had a way of retarded my timing that would help alittle but I don't. Is that something I should get? Maybe a MSD Boost capatable ignition? I am now running 8 psi and don't plan on running any more for a while. Remember that cost is a huge factor for me and the cheaper the better. Thaks for any info
The bluebox isn't user interactive, so there's not much you can do about the fuel/timing other than fuel pressure and base timing really..
I realize that, but what would you suggest that I get to tune it? Can I make a trip to the dyno worth while with just a FPR? The base line #'s will be nice, but I want to see increases in power or al least be able to tune my car so it wouln't run rich.
