exhaust rattle
i have a 2001 honda civic si. Im getting this rattle every time i slow down while in gear, sometimes when i am out of gear and making a turn. Its not a long noise, or anything that sounds like its grinding and it only happens when im slowing down and turning. i looked at the hangers today and they seem to be in place, i moved one a little bit because the exhaust was close to the chases, anyone have any ideas on what to look at?
heat shields? there is more then just 1, tho... front/back check them.
could be suspension bushings though also....check all the rubber in the suspension for tears/cracks/rips...

I know the guts on my ls cat got broken/loose and they would rattle around inside the cat whenever i downshifted or got on it real hard. It was annoying and took me a while to figure out what it was
its a brand new cat, haha had that problem happen a couple months ago. I got back under the RR and took the tire of moved it more to the center of the car seems to help. did have tape when we looked the second time so now i just have another reason to get back under the car haha
I get a rattle when I make left turns because my exhaust touches my rear sway bar. The 2.5" pipe is really big with the lowered car and it doesn't leave much room to fit. I need to have it adjusted.
I don't mean to ramble, but this is something that you might want to check out as well.
