Default Clicking noise occassionally under load solved

I don't even have the car anymore, but it was a 93 civic with a b16a2 and I realized i never made a thread explaining how I solved my problem. Every once and a while when driving under a greater load then normal especially going up hills I would get this clicking sound almost like a pop tab in a can shaking around. At first I checked the obvious like exhaust shields etc. This lasted for almost a year and eventually I ran out of options so I opened up my transmission, it turns out the magnet that is in the transmission was loose in its slot. I jb welded it to the casing so if need be it could still be removed but it would have to be intentional. The clicking was gone after that. Hopefully this helps at least one person.

it is definitely possible, also it is more likely it is your isb or throwout bearing which is critical that you fix. A bad isb will make the same noise however if it fails it will likely take the transmission with it. But I wanted to make this thread since apparently the magnet loose can cause similar symptoms.

I only did it because I was selling the car and wanted to have full piece of mind that I was selling a car in perfect mechanical condition. Also I had already taken the front frame member off so it was super easy to pull off the transmission and take a look while I was at it. You would be surprised how easy it is to get inside that transmission. If you follow the diy how to replace a isb on here you could do the job in one day no problem with no prior experience.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge, buddy.
It would be awesome if all the users would follow up on their solutions like you did.
