hello...i am trying to help my son fix his 1993 integra 1.8L,manual.2 door.
1-car did not star/crank at all
2-when turning key on,panel lights will come on
3-replaced the starter with new one,still same problem.
4-hot wire from starter negative black/white wire input to battery + plug and car did started.
5-checked the positive + connection on the starter,also did a continuity test on the black/white wire from starter side all the way to relay and the wire is good.i can start the car by using a separate switch from starter to battery +,but would like to solve this problem.

Check the relays. I had a similar issue and if I remember correctly I replaced a relay under the steering column. I do not remember off hand what it was called...main relay maybe?
